Terms of Service
The rules for using Convas, including accounts, acceptable use, AI-generated content, billing, and refunds.
Agreement
These Terms govern your use of convas.design and related Convas services. By creating an account, paying, or continuing to use the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm you can bind that organization.
You must be at least 16 years old. We may refuse service in sanctioned regions or to anyone who violates these Terms.
The service
Convas is a conversational presentation workspace. You work with an Agent on brief, outline, and design, generate and edit slides, then share a link or export files. Features, models, and allowances vary by plan—see the pricing page. The service is provided as then available; we may change models, allowances, or features.
Accounts
- Provide a working email and keep your sign-in methods secure.
- One person should not keep more accounts than reasonably needed. Bulk sign-ups to farm Free allowances are not allowed.
- Activity on your account is treated as yours or that of someone you authorized.
- To delete your account, email support@convas.design from the registered address. We typically complete this within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service for illegal, infringing, or abusive purposes, including:
- Uploading or generating child sexual exploitation material, content that assists violent crime or terrorism, or other content forbidden by law.
- Generating, uploading, requesting, or distributing NSFW, adult, pornographic, or sexually explicit content through the service, including through AI image, video, or slide generation tools.
- Uploading material you do not have the right to use, or publishing infringing work as if it were original.
- Distributing malware, phishing, or spam, or attacking or disrupting the service or other users.
- Bypassing usage, model, or Free-tier limits, including automated farming, multi-account abuse, or sharing one paid seat with unauthorized people.
- Probing, breaking, or excessively scraping our APIs, preview hosts, or other people’s projects.
- Using outputs for deceptive deepfakes, fraud, or impersonation without reasonable disclosure.
We may limit features, suspend, or terminate accounts when we see violations or risk, and we may report matters to authorities where required.
Your content
You keep your rights in uploads, prompts, and generated results (decks, exports, and the like), and you confirm you have the rights needed to give them to us. You grant Convas a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, display, back up, and send that content to third-party service providers so we can generate, preview, share, and export. The license is only for providing and operating the service (which does not include using your projects to train or improve any AI models) and ends in due course after the content is removed.
AI disclosure
- Outputs are produced by third-party models and tools. They can be wrong, incomplete, or untrue. You must check figures, citations, and legal or compliance claims before you use them externally.
- Outputs may resemble existing works. We do not warrant originality, copyrightability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Your prompts, attachments, and project context are sent to third-party AI providers to fulfill that request.
- We do not use your project files or chats for any AI model training.
- You are responsible if outputs or uploads infringe third-party rights, except where the harm is caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Billing & Credits
- Paid plans and credit packs are charged through Creem. Prices, tiers, and Credit rules are those shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
- Credits measure usage. Successful chat, render, image, and web-search requests consume Credits.
- Monthly Credits included in a subscription reset each billing period and do not roll over.
- Credit packs are a one-time balance, valid for 12 months from purchase. Subscribed accounts draw the monthly allowance first, then the pack; a Free account holding a pack draws the pack first, then the monthly free allowance and referral rewards.
- Annual billing discounts the total price only. Credits still reset monthly at the same allowance as monthly billing.
- While a Free account holds a credit pack with remaining balance, it can use Starter-level capabilities (including all Chat models) and export and share without a watermark. When the balance runs out the account returns to Free capabilities; existing projects are kept, and only creating new projects is blocked if the Free project limit has been reached. The exact scope is as shown on the pricing page at the time.
- Upgrades apply the new allowance immediately (usage already counted this period is not reset). Downgrades usually take effect after the current paid period.
Cancellation & refunds
You may cancel a subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid period; then the account moves to the Free plan (allowance and model limits as on the pricing page). Unused paid monthly Credits do not roll over and are not refunded. Canceling an annual plan mid-term does not refund remaining months; service continues through the paid period. Credit pack balances remain usable until their original expiry.
- Once digital service has begun, subscription fees and credit pack purchases are non-refundable except where law requires it or we agree in writing.
- If our payment provider refunds a credit pack, we claw back unused Credits from that pack. Credits already spent are usually not returned.
- Subscription refunds are handled by the payment provider and our support team; they do not automatically change your plan. Cancel first or email us.
- If a cooling-off or withdrawal right applies where you live, contact us within the statutory window. That right may be limited if you asked us to start the service immediately.
- If a material outage on our side prevents you from using paid service for a reasonable time, email us to ask for a discretionary refund or Credit adjustment.
Share & export
Share links are read-only. Anyone with the link can view (and, where the product allows, present) the deck without signing in. Do not treat a link as a private vault. You can revoke a link at any time. You are responsible for files you export. Free-plan shares or exports may include a watermark.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that outputs will meet your commercial, legal, or aesthetic needs. Closing the browser tab interrupts an in-progress generation.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Convas is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim; if you used the service for free, that amount is zero. This does not limit consumer rights that cannot be waived.
Termination
You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate the service if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, or if we must comply with law. Provisions that by nature should survive—including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—remain in effect.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be noted on the site or by email. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel any subscription. The date at the top is the latest revision.
Please try to resolve disputes by emailing support@convas.design first. To request operator details, email that address. These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s place of establishment, without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
Contact
For accounts, billing, refunds, and abuse reports, email support@convas.design. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
