@ references

Type @ in the composer to reference project assets, a slide, a design style, and more—so the Agent knows exactly what you mean.

How to use @

Type @ in the composer to open the reference menu. Pick an item and a chip appears in the input; it is sent with your message to the Agent. Recently used references show at the top for quick reuse.

What you can reference

  • Project assets: uploaded images, documents, etc.—e.g. “Draft an outline from this PDF.”
  • Slides: when a deck exists, @ a page—e.g. “Match slide 5 to the style of slide 2.”
  • Design styles: pick from the library or favorites—e.g. “Regenerate the cover in this style.”
Only one design-style reference at a time; picking a new one replaces the old. Asset and slide references can combine with other types.

Example prompts

Reference a document

@Q3-report.pdf Extract revenue and profit highlights into brief, then draft an outline from it.

Type @ and pick from the menu; the chip is sent with your message.

Reference a slide

@Slide 2 Match slide 5’s layout and structure to this slide’s visual style.

Reference a design style

@Minimal corporate Regenerate the cover and slide 1 in this style.

Only one design-style @ at a time; a new pick replaces the previous one.

Combine references

@Product-whitepaper.docx @Slide 3 Add the doc’s core metrics to slide 3—keep the current layout.

Canvas element quote

(Select headline → Add to chat) Shorten this headline—more formal tone.

In edit mode, element chips are more precise than browsing the @ menu.

Quote canvas elements

In canvas edit mode, select an element and use “Add to chat” to insert a quote chip. You can pin several elements in turn, add each to chat, then send one instruction. This is more precise than browsing the @ list for a headline, chart, or paragraph.

In the Brief tab, use “Reference in chat” on an image row to insert the asset chip quickly.
