Choose a model
Switch the chat model in the workspace composer. Available models depend on your plan; credit usage may vary by model.
How to switch
Use the model selector near the composer to see available models and switch. Only messages you send afterward use the new model—past turns are unchanged.
Default model
Set a default chat model in account settings; new projects inherit it. Existing projects can switch anytime from the left chat bar without opening settings.
Plans & access
- Free includes a subset of chat models; Pro and above unlock the full chat model list.
- If you pick a model your plan does not allow, send is blocked with an upgrade or switch prompt.
- Capabilities and credit usage may differ by model.
DeepSeek peak/off-peak hours
Applies to DeepSeek Flash Chat only (including Free’s default Chat model). Rules match DeepSeek’s official schedule, evaluated in Beijing time (UTC+8). Credit conversion adjusts automatically with peak/off-peak.
- Peak: Mon–Fri 9:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00, when the day is not a Chinese public holiday.
- Off-peak: all other times, including full weekends; full days on Chinese public holidays (aligned with official holiday notices, including long breaks); makeup workdays on weekends still count as off-peak.
- Other Chat models are not part of DeepSeek peak/off-peak and bill at their own rates.
