Speaker notes & presenting

Draft scripts in chat, edit in materials and the canvas drawer, present with a second-window presenter view, and choose whether share links expose notes to guests.

Write speaker notes

Ask the Agent in chat to draft, expand, or tidy per-slide scripts—they are saved to your project speaker-notes file in slide order. Once a deck exists, preview or download the full file under Brief › Project materials › Speaker notes. You can @-reference that file in chat to revise specific pages.

First draft

Write speaker notes for every slide from the current outline—conversational, 3–5 sentences per slide.

Fix a few pages

Slide 5 notes are too long—compress to two sentences and keep the data source.

Canvas notes drawer

Open the Notes toggle in the canvas toolbar to see the current slide’s section; it updates as you change pages. Edit and save—changes write back to the project file. The drawer hides during fullscreen present so it does not cover slides; read notes in presenter view or exit present if you need to edit mid-run.

The notes drawer works alongside Edit and Tweak—e.g. skim notes for one slide while adjusting deck colors in the right rail.

Presenter view

Built for dual-screen or projector + laptop setups. In presentation settings on the canvas header, enable presenter mode and enter fullscreen present, then open presenter view in a second window. It stays in sync: thumbnails for current and next slide, page notes, timers, and pace hints. The audience screen stays on fullscreen slides; page changes sync from either window.

  • Loop and auto-advance stay in presentation settings; the main window drives timing.
  • If the browser blocks the popup, use the “Open presenter view” control on the present overlay.
  • Exiting present closes the presenter window.

Share links & notes

Read-only share links show slides only by default—guests can flip through and present fullscreen but cannot see your script or your editable workspace. For training or async review, turn on “Visitors can view speaker notes” in the share popover before copying the link; guests open a notes drawer from an icon and text follows the active slide. Turn the switch off or revoke the link to cut off access.

The share page does not offer the owner’s dual-window presenter—guests get slides plus optional notes. Use canvas present and presenter view inside your workspace.
